Splatterville Mayhem is a FPS adventure game. Objective is to traverse the map in search of indicated items while surviving the town residents that have lost their minds. Player has the ability to pick up from various ranged and melee weapons in order to beat the objective. This game was a submission for the Brackeys 2022 Game Jam in which I collaborated with programmers, animators and game designers.

Some of my contributions of as gameplay programmer:

  • AI Programming (Behavior Tree and AI Controller)

  • UI Programming (Main Menu, Audio Settings)

  • Win Conditions systems (Handling of game instance to load map accordingly)

  • Animation Programming

This a solo prototype project to learn more about Unreal Engine's AI Perception. I plan to have different enemy types that have different duties before engaging in combat with the player character. This is a continuously developing project I am currently working on.

Endless Runner

This is a solo project that I worked on to get familiar with the Unreal Engine using mostly C++. It is my first attempt at an endless runner where the player must dodge obstacles by either moving from that particular lane or by using the correct dodge move based on the incoming obstacle type. The game keeps track of the players longest run and the most coins they have accumulated in a single run. Players also have the options of two different power picks up (slow motion, and Intangibility) in order to help avoid running into anything. It also developed to work currently on mobile phone but only for Android.

Wild Dead West is a survival zombie game I developed with the help of a game programming class. The player must reach the towns barn house in order to gain safety from the zombies that have infested the town. With two options of weaponry, the player must leave with at least enough points from killing enemies before they can escape.

Cyber Defense is a turret defense game that I created with the help of a Brackeys YouTube tutorial when I first started working with Unity. The player uses the money they start with and they accumulate from destroying incoming Cyber tanks. Enemies come in waves and becomes increasingly hard the longer the player can last. You also have the ability to upgrade currently placed turrets for better changes and sell them to maneuver your artillery in more strategic positions on the map.

Retro Rebound is a blocker breaker like game that I helped developed while participating in the  Games for Love  game jam. You are allowed three lives during the duration of a run and must start from the first level if the player so happens to lose them all. Random  collectibles can be collected to gain an advantage in game

I was responsible with programming

  • Programming the games state 

  • UI 

  • Paddle controls.

  • Drop down power ups.
